i was deeply honored to have been involve and selected as Grand Marshal
for the 2nd Anual Cambodian New Year Parade 2006.
but it wasn't about any one person nor group, it was about the
community coming together. and together we came. thank you to the
Cambodian New Year Parade Committe and all the staff and members
who made this event a historical one. its one more for the books.
praCh with wife Chanda Chhim Ly, and Silong as driver.
p.s. thank Silong for not stepping on the gas..ha.
we would have done back flips. ha....

Parade Objectives

Shine spotlight on "Cambodia Town",
the largest Cambodian community outside Cambodia.

Promote business on Anaheim Street in Long Beach.

Improve community relationships among
people of different racial, national and religious backgrounds.

Engage Cambodian-Americans in mainstream events.

Show unity in the community.

Showcase Cambodian culture.
